I got hold of an extra PC and decided to move over to colo with Servermatrix ($50 for tower instead of the cheapo $49 FDC server I had). I shipped the box out Fedex Ground since I wasn't that worried about the hardware, and it was previously shipped the same way to me without problem.
Well, it got there and wouldn't boot. Great. I agree to pay them to have a tech open it up and try to diagnose the problem ($75/hr).
An hour or two later, I see the ticket is updated saying that a cable or two got jostled out during shipping, and since it's a quick fix, it was free. Since I preconfigured the network settings, it came up and everything worked great. It's been a couple weeks and it's purring along just fine.
I thought servermatrix treated me really well even though I'm paying only $50/mo. They -could- have charged me for the hour or so to fix it, but they didn't. Great customer service!
