2. are there any that aren't bad but can offer me the same price and what looks to be quality templates.

There are quite a few. Its illegal to post direct URLs here, but go to google directory, find template monster and you'll find plenty of template providers in the same category.

4. is there a way to get in contact with the designers from template - monster.

Emailing them doesnt work? They are still busy recovering from massive DDoS from two weeks ago. All their services are up and operations, but they still invest quite a bit of time into making sure this kind of thing never happens again.
for that reason some service requests have been delayed longer than acceptable. i have to say this is a rather unusual situation.

I need to get this one template from them it's by designer Olney. It's a good deal at $30 with flash too.
i know alot of you may build your own but between owning a bar and being a single dad of 2 I really don't have the time.
anyone that may know of a site with cheap prices and nice looking sites for a nightclub setting please let me know.

i'd like to mention this. there's much heated competition on this market right now. some people engage in less than fair business pactices. my advice to you is to judge web site templates on their merit, not on what people say about them. there arent all too many of decent web site templates out there, perhaps 5-6 thousand. half of those are template monster's. no wonder people are uneasy about TM.
bottom line - judge for yourself and on merit. this is not a good subject to listen to random advice about.
