Nothing from here either. I'm sure it's just a glitch and the site will be operational asap.

I have used 2checkout for nearly two years and 'nothing but trouble' is not my experience. There have been trouble, but not 'nothing but trouble'

Get away from 3rd party processors. The real merchant gateway is the way to do it, so much easier and so fewer issues.

I don't know about "so much easier". Read through this forum and you'll find horror stories from folks using "real merchant accounts". 
Paysystems works very well for us. They've been pretty good lately [touch wood]. Merchant accounts don't work for everyone. It comes down to finding what works for your business and implementing that.

PaySystems sucks and they are spammers. I will not be a part of supporting spammers.
I am on the phone with 2CheckOut now. They had a denial of service attack. Thier website was down, but orders are still being processed on the gateway pages. If you use thier plug and play cart, that is down as well because it is run off thier main domain.
They said they will be back online in five minutes.

even paysystems is like 2checkout.com can say 2checkout is better.
wroldpay is good.
anyway still 2checkout order forms are down
