In answer to your question i currently have over 91 domains/websites on a 4GB/40GB reseller plan, of which i would say 50 are actual websites and the rest parked domains, the uptime and speed is excellent, but then i am with a great company, hope that info helps.

First jablunka, thank you for the compliment. It's my little experiment & I hope it does well--for the students & myself! I also hope they all need websites..hehe.
Secondly, you are going to crack up when you see the reseller plan I have right now...

Look familiar? LOL!
Right now the "advanced power partner" is an affiliate link to the host I'm on right now & am terribly unhappy with. This is where I will link to, hopefully, my own hosting plans.
Thank you so much everyone for all of the great & quick responses! This is an awesome forum. Glad I found you.
One more question (for now)...I'm bad at math...I'm going to be a decent lawyer--who hires an accountant! Anyway, isn't 1000MB equal to 1GB? Then if you figure 50 sites per GB (and I know it really depends on all the variables), that figure still assumes the average site uses about 20MB. And, of course, they normally wouldn't. Mine, without the classified program (php/MySQL), is only about 1MB.
So, that is where the leeway comes in, to keep the speed decent, etc., right?
One more dumb question--and if I need to post this in another area, please let me know--but, what affects "bandwidth" and why the different amounts of "transfer?" I'm assuming whenever data is transferred, it taxes the server?
Thanks for putting up with me. I'm really learning a lot (although, I'm really supposed to be studying contract law right now...)
