Why don't you post what kind of server and price range you are looking for and I can recommend some places to check out.

Hey sorry about the email address Im posted that site address prematurly, while there is info on that site I was unaware, the designers were not quite done with it, hence email not set up yet. Looks bad huh Anyways just to let you know you can actually visit us at http://www.eazyaccess.com, that is our consumer hosting division and you can email me at charles@eazyaccess.com for the time being. We have been in the Internet Service Business for 3 years, and our a members of the Better Business Bureau. You can also call our sales offices at (316) 618-6923
As far as references I can give how ever many you need after I check with the owners of the servers to get permission to give out their contact info. In addition one of the members of this board just signed up (cburgy) you can ask him how our service is.
Again sorry for the premature postof our new website cheapservers.net, while it does have up to date pricing info, it is not done yet.

Hello Mike,
I was looking to get a basic server to start with need 128megs of ram at least 400mhz processor 20ip's and 10 gigs bandwidth a month with bandwidth not costing more then $5 a gig after that ip's have can't be too much seen some companies charge $6 per extra ip#
Needs to come with a control panel or I can have one installed ie plesk but if doesn't come with a good control panel I refuse to pay a set up fee I know it seems I'm looking for a lot I can pay upto $225 a month

James, just remember that the cheaper you pay, the cheaper the service may be. Typically on a dedicated server, you want to go cheap, but you want good service, good uptime, good response time and more (stupid spacebar isn't working).
Based on what you've posted,it sounds like you need a RaQ server. While these servers are not as robust as a full linux server, for lack of a better word, they are usually much cheaper.
Currently we don't offer RaQ's (my company), currently the cheapest server we offer is $400 per month and while it meets or exceeds what you are looking for I still feel like what you need is a RaQ.
As a general rule, I would avoid anyone who has unlimited bandwidth or storage space.
Good places to shop would be:
Rackspace (costs a little more, but has great service)
Dialtoneinternet (costs less, but may have to pay for service, but Duster is the man to talk to about them)

YOur very right, you do get what you pay for. FOr instace if you were going to purcahse one of our servers, and you were going to load 100 hosting customers on it you wouldnt want the chepest server we have you would want to go with something with mutiple processor's. Also you should be very careful about the quality of service a firm is offering, if they are very low in price they may not have the lines they advertise or they may not have the technical assistance there to back you up. Best way is to ask them for referral.
I do like to give do credit where it is deserved. Raq Space.com although a competitor offers a very good services, their just a bit over priced.

Our experience with Cheapservers.net (or Eazyaccess) has surprisingly be pretty good. We signed up for a Celeron 600 with 128 MB RAM, 20 GIG HD, 10 GIGS transfer and recieved all of it. They actually went ahead and gave us a pentium III 600 instead. I started looking at the actual componets they use and I would use them in a home system. Our server utilized an new ABIT motherboard and a WDC (Western Digital) HD. Have had a few slight problems but they were resolved quickly. As of now I would recommend the service to other people. Check out our site at http://www.forensicsonline.com
I am a Network Administrator / Lan Analyst for a large Oil Company so I can say the hardware is to my personal spec.
Cheers,

cbaker, I agree, rackspace.com is a little pricey, though their service is great. I used to have a RaQ there. I know you are a new company and I'm interested to see how things go for you.
Good Luck.
