I'm looking to run a basic site where I post links to news articles with comment. I have the php backend ready to go.

I'm just looking for a template or layout.
Maybe something with a header at top and columns, a basic idea I had is here http://www.kiwoski.com/test.php

But its just not that great, anyway let me know what you have

so would it be customaziation of ARNovo and NewsHowler to fit in with template? Also do u want us to create a login/register system?
