Hello ,
I got a few months ago a reseller account with one of the companies posting on WHT ( according to posts they have one of the best reputations).Today I downloaded a tracing tool from tucows and found out that I was on a server of a hosting company which I never heard of them.I visited their site and it looks to me that my host has an reseller account with them , since it would be strange if he would have a server with a hosting company when he sells his own!
I got my account because I wanted to offer quality services to my local webdesign customers and I intent to make a living out of this.Now i feel worried being a resellers reseller without having been informed.
Whats your opinion ? Do you think I should switch to an other host ? I feel I little dissapointed.

I would ask your host (the one that you pay) about your findings.

If you're happy with the service that you've gotten so far, why move? It's likely that this reseller has a setup with their host that allows them to create/sell reseller accounts for a discount.

Agree with David.
Many of our Resellers also sell our Reseller plans at discount to their clients.
If the actual provider is Reliable then you should not worry. But if you paid more than the prices at the actual provider then you may worry

I don't see any problem in it. If you are happy with their services then there's nothing you should really worry about.

Just ensure that your provider's provider is reliable...coz if they run you might not have any escape

There is only a problem if you feel they have not been honest about things.

It does not matter how good the service is if they are being deceptive. They should have all info posted on site. Where they get connectivity, who they use ect., etc.. Companies that post photos and the same old overused text from other hosts and data centers and claim it as "Our Network" are ridiculous. Check them out.
