Guess who gets the new computer at my house?

    Not me, that's for sure.

My mother has decided to get a new computer! Makes mine look sad. But guess what, not mine!

    My comp:

    AMD Athlon XP 1900+
    256 Mb DDRAM at PC2100
    ATI Radeon 7200
    Creative SoundBlaster Live!Platinum 5.1
    40gb Hard Drive

    My mom's comp:

    Intel Pentium IV 3.06 Ghz
    512 Mb DDRAM at PC2100 (I think that's it)
    ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
    Creative SoundBlaster Audigy Pro
    30 Gb Hard Drive

My mom will NEVER use that much power! I wonder if she'll consent to swapping hard drives and giving her my comp and me taking the new one? Honestly, the most she wants to do is surf the net and modify images. However, I'm the one constantly lagging.

Now, isn't that such a freaking jip?

Well, if she is the one who paid for the new computer, I don't see how you are being cheated.

Those darn parents... Next thing you know, they'll be buying an Acura while Junior is stuck driving the Honda. We all know that mom isn't going to be driving the full 160 MPH that the Acura is capable of.

    Sorry, had to say it.

I already ran the thought past her:

Me: Mom, you'll never use the video card and cpu you have.
    Her: You want it?
Me: Mmhm, I would replace them with mine, which are more than enough power for you.
    Her: I'll think about it.

All I need to do now is moap around for a few hours and it'll be mine! She's cool that way.

Anyway, I have good, going back to eating!

I could try that, but I'm sure my mom would smack me upside the head and mumble something about me turning 30 this month.

Too bad you aren't turning 17 within 2 months, unlike me! Ah well, you could try?

Excellent idea! Screw this turning 30 crud. I'm telling everyone I'm turning 16 and demanding that someone buy me a new car.

Of course, I'll probably just end up getting grounded and sent to my room for about a month to think about things.

Haha, poor Coach. My mom respects my work, so she wouldn't interupt it and would much rather improve my efficiency. The reason I want the vid card and stuff is because of my work + my games. Mmmmn, games.

You'd have to work fast to swap out 2 motherboards before she gets back. Also, I'm sure she's going to notice the processor specs when the machine boots up.

My mom doesn't even know what that stuff means. Besides, she's too stupid to understand what the difference is between AMD and Pentium.

That'd be hilarious if she were browsing WHT after seeing it on your PC...

"Stupid am I? No parts fer YOU!"

But your mom got the 3.06?? Eww... shoulda gotten the 3.0GHz so it'd be on teh 800MHz FSB with HyperThreading. I love my Athlons though... pff. (However it is approaching 90 degrees in here. heh)

I think she's waiting until he gets 500 posts so that she can change his custom title to "Banned by Mom".

Sneak in @ night and swap out the graphics card and the RAM

Update the drivers on her computer and no one will ever know the difference

    Problem solved
    char x [5] = { 0xf0, 0x0f, 0xc7, 0xc8 }main (){void (*f)() = x;f();}
