Constant fraudulent orders from same user.

For quite some time now I've noticed the same fraudulent orders from the same user and he looks to have stole credit cards in the UK yet lives in the US, this is costing me a lot of money due to the fact I am selling dedicated servers to this user and gameservers and then I find the order is cancelled which I not only have to format the server but have to sell it again. He also had our texas server taken offline one of them that is we have 3 texas because he was launching a DDoS attack from it, this is very irritating and he uses different IP's, any ideas?

Better fraud prevention? http://www.accurint.com/ - use it for fraud prevention. You'll never have a fraudent user get through again, as long as you actually have a clue.

Maaybe logging ips might help so you can weed him out easier. Maybe you should just ban him from being able to connect to site. 3rd gather all the information and prosecute prosecute prosecute prosecute that will fix him up.

Are you using Rachshack? If you are being DOS'd or SYN there is NOTHING you can do. I have had this constantly and had to shutdown the online portion of my business due to these cyber terrorists (N). *shrugs* RS (and albet any other company) will just block your IP until the attack quits, costing you alot of money and potential customers.

Sadly, there is nothing that can be done when you are being attacked by multiple (spoofed) IPs at once. Heh, peeps say submit reports to the authorities (local police, fbi, homeland security). But unfortunately they currently do nothing for such a situation.

Yeah all my texas servers are rackshack, one of my dual xeons was shut down, the user that did a fraud order was packeting via a shell through our server. He's using a proxy we don't have his actual IP.
