Search for "Web Service" produces the following results:
Google - 11,900,000
Alta Vista - 29,000,000
Teoma - 47,000,000
Yahoo - 8,500,000

According to Overture there were over 65,000 searches done in June for Web Service.

A search of "Web Service .Net" also produces millions of results. Most likely because Microsofts new technology is called .NET and focuses on Web Services. All the major companies are involved with Web Services in one way or another (Oracle, IBM, Sun, etc..) I actually received a very very nice offer 3 years ago (sometimes kick myself for not taking it)

So what do you think?

Yes there are a lot of searches and results for "Web Service" but your domain cant be seen anywhere near the top..... there is no value if you arent producing the results.

My domain cant be seen near the top because it has never been developed or submitted to any of the engines. With all the results and searches being done on web service imagine how quick it could rise to the top with such specific key words if it was developed and submitted.

Bottom line is, Web Sevices are huge right now and because of microsofts .NET my opinion is this may be one case where the .Net version is worth more than the .Com....once again, just my opinion.
