Spammers, Hackers, or complete conartisits.

Not saying i have had any expereince with any of the above in the thread title, (touch wood).

But do you think somone should make a site or do somthing to make host's aware of the complete blunt people that are out there to get hosting from you, to ruin ur company by sending spam or doing somthing else that violates your dedicated server TOS agrement?

well what I am going to do is have a website with a forum. It will list the IP that doing bad. It will consist of anyone spaming, con, hacking, or in general bad.

To get on it there has to be enough proof so that someone innocent doesnt get put in the list.

This will be on my other computer so if it gets hacked the other 3 computers will have infomation so no matter how hard they will try I will have a list of them.

Also it will have phone numbers to contact officals of there wrong doing so that we can get rid of these people that do wrong.

data protection act how could I go around it (in no way breaking any laws) but to make it so people know who is the spammers, hackers, and so on?

I think people should know who is doing the spamming and hacking and so on.

They can also get sued: http://reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml...toryID=3340066

A person isn't a criminal until they have been found guilty in a court of law.

If you have a good head on your shoulders, you're naturally suspcious, but not rude or paranoid and you check everything out...you can really minimize the amount of fraud you're company will undergo. These type of organizations, while they sound like a good idea, will only cause grief for your company.

There is a tool/script that sends loads of e-mails out once run which is what paul hannifin uses, somone has posted about him some where on here, think its under "hosts be aware dont accept domain.com"

it would be a good idea if somone could get around this data protection act crap and run that website it would be a really good website least that way hots will know who the tw@ts are.

usually if you have a head on your sholders, you can normally tell you when have a spammer or a low life sign up, the key thing is to look at the domain if its summit like "wkklnsdnfjk.com" which has no meaning wot so ever, its obvious that here going to host a dummy page and use it to try and do some wrong doing, just keep a close eye no that account and when he/she does cut them off without a refund
