Quick question . . . lately, in dreamweaver, when we embed an image, the image automatically attaches itself to the base directory on our hardrive (Cesktop/Website/sampleimage.gif), rather than simply imbedding as /sampleimage.gif. Obviously, as a result, the images often don't display. Is there a way (without having to go into code view and edit the HTML each time) that we can avoid this? Has anyone else had problems with this?Hurricom Interactive

You need to "create a site" first and copy whatever images you are using into that directory. The reason you are getting this error, is because the image isn't in the directory (or sub-dir) that your site is designated.
