Has anyone used Rackmounts Etc for servers? If so, could you answer some questions for me:
1. How long has your server been in use?
2. What is the build quality like (loose screws, etc)?
3. Any hardware problems since being put online?
4. If so, how were Rackmounts Etc in dealing with them?
5. What is their delivery speed and packaging quality like?
6. How about general customer care?
7. + any other info you think is appropriate.
Thanks!

I use them to build my 1U servers.
1. Ihave had servers up and running for my clients for months with NO issues.
2. The quality is so good that I have had a hard time getting the screws to loosen, I thought they were factory installed.
3. NONE!!!
4. Excellent!! I have asked Brian to jump through some hopes and he has done what was needed. For me and for me to make the client happy. I have ordered boxes and needed them by next business morning and have had them here. he has even driven to the FedEx main shipping hub and personaly made sure it went out.
5. Speed of delivery is what you make it. Normal is ground if you want next day then of course you will pay for it. All servers that we have gotten were shipped in heavy duty server boxes with internal 3" foam padding.
6. Excellent, I have never been told NO or we are to busy ect. If there is a problem with them getting a part from the distrib I am called right away and with a suggestion of what can be substituted.
I would recommend them to anyone as I have bought 6 servers from them.

Seems great so far, absolutely no problems.
3. Any hardware problems since being put online?
See above.
4. If so, how were Rackmounts Etc in dealing with them?
n/a
5. What is their delivery speed and packaging quality like?
within 4-5 days I believe, very good packaging.

Brian has always been there when I had any questions, whether it's about his hardware or not. I'm definately impressed.

Question about Rackshack, I have never done business with them but from looking at their website I see alot of stuff missing,Some of the links are broken, The site name is "untitled 1" in the browser bar... The prices are wrong... I'm not saying anything bad because they seem to have a loyal following and must be ok but I would think a company could at least have a site without some of these glaring flaws..
I mean geez this was overlooked??

Rackmounts Etc. had some problems with their current designers... I am not allowed to say much regarding this (I'll leave that up to Brian at his discretion), but rest assured that a new website design is in the works. AFAIK, the design that you see now will be scrapped and a much nicer one put into place.

I apologize for not answering your questions but do a search on them and look for my previous posts.. I would never puchase from them again.. total lack of professional service.
