Need a win2003 dedicated server $500-700/mon, 40-80GB HDD, 100GB BW, HELM, Coldfusion

Hi,

I want to move my accounts to a dedicated server with

Windows 2003, HELM Control Panel, Mail Enable,ASP, .Net, FTP Server, MYSQL, Active Perl, Microsoft DNS, Microsoft Scripting Engine Microsoft Front Page Extension 2002, Server Side XML
MS XML Parser, Microsoft Mobile Internet Toolkit 1.0, Microsoft .NET Framework, PHP 4.2.x, MS SQL Server.

I can pay upto $600month for 60-80GB HDD and a very ver y good bandwidth. The company should porve that it is atleast 3 years old, and i will need 24/7 prompt support. I have more than 800 hosting account that i need to move within 3 months.

Any assistance in moving account will be strongly desired.

Thanks.

This should go in the requests forum.

What is HELM? Where can I read about it? I've never heard of it before.

Helm is a control panel for Windows. Check out http://helm.webhostautomation.com/

I hear many good things about servint.net. Does anyone know if they do Windows? I only see Linux and FreeBSD on their site.

RackShack (RackShack.net) is an industry giant with about 16,000 servers. They recently started doing Windows, and apparently hope to come out with a Helm offering soon. (Although they've said they're not setting up any new servers, besides the unsold ones they have on hand right now, due to their power company telling them not to use another drop of electricity.)

RackShack has their Windows boxes starting at $89, although I'm not sure what Helm will cost. (Other stuff like ColdFusion will probably have to be installed by you, but the $600-ish/month you save could go a long way to that. )

Note that this isn't an advertising/request forum; companies aren't allowed to reply with offers. You'll get people like me suggesting companies, but if you want companies to be offering you deals, you'll want to post in the Requests forums (down near the bottom of the main page.)

I don't think RackShack offers the 24/7 prompt support and assistance moving the accounts over that cool_cathy requested.

800 sites on one server - that'd scare the hell out of me, one problem and 800 people on the phone . . . .

Rackshack is out of the question, I think she will be looking for a semi-managed server with a company that at least can remember her by name .. By the sound of the post the clients are important/high paying and taking a risk with $99 server is out of the question IMHO.

I would suggest SERVINT, drop "BobFarmer" an PM or email wht@servint.com

Best of luck..

Try servermatrix.
They offer fully managed win 2003 server and their uptime and support are excellent.

A word of advice!
get 2 or 3 server and spread your 800 sites between them than putting them all on one server.

Good Luck

Thank you guys for all your replies, keep posting the replies since our CEO has not decided anything yet. One more thing is how about the support ? Will any of these companies will provide a branded support ? or will i have to provide them the support. Because the company i am using right now provides me totally branded support so i do not have to do anything regarding the support.

Please update your offers with this questions also.

Thanks.

RackMy is definitely a good recommendation. But it appears the requester is asking for outsourced tech support for her clients as well, included in the package price, which changes everything.
