My review of DOT5HOSTING.com

Hello,

I started out about 10 months ago with phpwebhosting.com

Then I moved my site to a friend's rackshack server and then I got my own to get a taste of what it takes to manage a server and after a month I gave it back.

Well, fast forward to the present time...

I was surfing WHT and clicked on DOT5HOSTING... and signed up for a DOT1 plan to get a taste of their service.

Everything went along pretty smoothly for about 2 weeks and then my site was offline for a while (maybe DOT5 hacked? anyway) and then I was almost ready to quit them because of that but what here is what kept me with them:

I am in the US and the server speed is amazing... From my work I have seen 800KB/sec. Upload is around 400kb/sec......

Live support is always there to help out. Out of the 20 times I clicked on live support, only once the support person told me to write a ticket and I told him that other support people do this for me without one... so he did it

NOW THE LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT REASON WHY I LIKE THEM

I wanted to upgrade from DOT1 to DOT4... so live support did it for me, generated an invoice, I paid it and few minutes later I was online.

Then their website design changed and I noticed that the fee for DOT4 plan is pretty close to the reseller DOT1 plan....

So I click on LIVE SUPPORT again... this time tey upgrade me to a reseller package and add my site to the reseller panel..all this within 10-20 minutes through live support.

If the admin of dot5hosting reads this, I would like to know how many tech live supports guys you have abd what kind of server I am on?

The site is www.k20a.org

Thanks, I am a happy customer for now.

dot5 is a host that you`ll be 110% happy or 110% angry

there is nothing in the middle

i`ve been in both positions.. today`s upgrade is a very serious test

Glad to see you've found a host you are happy with. Doesn't happen as much these days with all the newer hosts
