handhelds.com for sale

I am currently debating whether to develop or sell my latest acquisition, www.handhelds.com (WWW.HANDHELDS.COM), therefore i have decided to put it up for sale and i will sell if the offers get up to an acceptable level.

Some Background Information;

Google Results for handhelds - 2,630,000
Daily uniques - between 30-70 UNIQUES a day (not hits or pageviews)

Market Information;

'Vendors shipped 2.45 million PDAs in the first quarter worldwide, down 21.3 percent from the first quarter of 2002 when 3.16 million units shipped' - http://pcworld.shopping.yahoo.com/ya...,110392,00.asp

As seen above, handhelds are obviously a multi-billion dollar market.

General Info;

I have started to have the site developed into a handhelds portal as previously mentioned, and you can see the site design at http://www.handhelds.com/subpage.html .

I have also bought two scripts for use with the site, as seen at;
- http://www.c3scripts.com/amazon/index.html (for an amazon store).
- http://www.cosmicperl.com/dirpro.shtml (to manage the directory).

The site design, and scripts will be included in any sale.

As seen above, this domain has high potential for either resell or development.

Please feel free to post or PM any questions whatsoever.

Could you please PM me any offers (I am only looking for offers over $5k), or email them to john.quailATntlworld.com

Escrow.com can be used at buyers cost.

Thanks,
John

2 letter domains don't even go for 1.5k let alone a 9 letter...

It's not about the length of the domain, but rather what the domain name is, in this case, it's everything handhelds.

I've seen domains go for higher, but 7.5k seems decent.

sorry if you think im bumping the thread too much nickrac. I have to keep anyone interested up to date with the current offers. Would it not be worse if i didnt?

Also, regarding 2 letter .coms going for $1.5k. If you have any, i'll buy them all of you for $5k each (seriously). eg. Just a week ago CR.com sold for $25k.

Thank you for the comments Juarez

Thats a great domain and I reckon you could get more than 7.5k for it, and even more if you developed the site. Unique name you got there, i'd keep hold of it if I was you.
