CGI File Manager

I'm trying as hard as I can to stick with my current host, but I'm having problems with its Alabanza control panel. Some of my edits don't register and I'm not able to preview an html page before I save it. It would also help if the links and scripts would work in preview mode, but thats not essential. Would adding a cgi file manager be a good solution (it has to be web based because I can't install software on the computers I use)? Can you recommend one?
