Creating Things for Windows Active Desktop

I did this several years ago, but completely forgot how to do it:

Can someone refersh my memory here. Lets use Yahoo.com as an example. How can I create a small 300x300 window for the Windows XP active desktop that loads Yahoo.com inside it?

And how do I add a link on my webpage that someone can click and automatically install my active desktop component to their computer? (in this case, the yahoo window)

Thanks!

For clarity's sake, don't use "<ip address of hostname>" use the ACTUAL 32-bit numeric IP address of the machine.

!

That's sweet! I was just thinking about stuff like this.

I think that by using <iframe> you can also stick a nice window of a folder on your computer on your desktop.

Oh the possibilites!

And with the speeds and memory available to people these days; that may not be a problem as it used to be.
