Im running cpanel, and i need to search down any old insecure versions of formmail running on the server, as well as dissable anyone from being able to run the old version of it.

.....obviously to make sure no one can spam from it. I only want clients to be able to install the new secure version.

anyone know how i can get cpanel to stop allowing people to use its version of it? as well as how can i find it on the server.

Check out the "chkformmailver" script on this site:

Do that after you follow the instructions from the link that Website Rob gave you. The script will hunt through your user's cgi-bin directories and generate a report for you on those that are using insecure versions, so you can notify them to upgrade and disable the old versions.
