I've heard people say in here that the alabanza network was good because they make it easy for you to switch hosts however this is what the host I was going to go with was told.

"we will not move them or any domains
for that matter from one Alabanza client to another."

Jim,

Alabanza moved my domains without any questions. I just moved all of my accounts from NoMonthly to a new server and had no problems at all. I just emailed them with a list of the domain names, IP addresses, usernames, passwords, email addresses, and old server names and told them where to put them and what packages to put them on. Four days later, my accounts were moved!

If you need more information about this, either post your email address or email me directly. I'd be glad to help.

I'd be comfortable saying that it's relatively easy to switch from an Alabanza host to another one (compared to other hosts), because for the enduser the control panel, directory structure, and such would at least be similar.

But I never would have thought of asking Alabanza to perform the move! That's the kind of thing I'd do myself, either as host or enduser.

I guess I was wrong

what I thought was possible was for the domains to keep the same ip#'s because they are all owned by alabanza I just didn't want my customers to lose their stats etc
