Bandwidth conversion??

Hi,
I just got a new win03 server with Ensim pro control panel and under plan creation for limiting the bandwidth for a plan, I only have the option of xxxx kb/s.

How do you figure out let say 1GB/month bndwidth transfer to
KB/S.

For example how much is 1024 KB/S in monthly transfer???

Is there a formula to calculate this??

Thanks

Are you talking KB/S or kb/s Kilobytes per second or kilobits per second. http://noc.webair.com/convert.html

^^^ yes, if by kb/sec you mean kilobytes/sec (ie nearly 1megabyte/sec - which is actually 1280kB/sec)

Hi,
Anyone here familiar with Ensim pro for window??
When you setup a service plan, under bandwidth Quota, you need to enter the monthly bandwidth in KB/s and the default number is 1024KB/s.

Suppose I want to limit the bandwidth to 1GB/month. What value would you enter there.
According to my calculation 1GB/month= .4KB/s
Problem is it does not accept integer values.

Thanks

That's not really for limiting bandwidth on a per-gb scale - it's really for setting the maximum burst bandwidth under IIS...

So, there is no way to set bandwidth quota for my domains in Ensim Pro and that 1024 KB/s number should be left alone??
