What is the best windows text editor that uses Unix line breaks?
I'm tired of clients breaking scripts with Windows linebreaks, and I'm looking for something to suggest to them.

I am fond of notetab. Both free and commercial versions are available.

Notetab or UltraEdit. I use both, depending on what I'm working on. Notetab for general purpose editing, script changes and converting to UNIX line breaking. UltraEdit for HEX editing, etc.

Notepad pretty much sucks for the linebreaks, but wordpad has actually done pretty well for me so far. Both free and installed with Windows as standard.

Ariesoft Winsyntax works nicely. It's simple and not bloated with a bunch of useless features.
I use it to make all of my text files including scripts.

Eclipse ( www.eclipse.org) is, by far, the best editor I have ever used (for Java/PHP programming purposes).

I second the vote for EditPlus. It's also one of the best PHP editors around, and you can switch line endings easily (and even have new files default to UNIX line endings.)
