hello i am using a cpanel hosted account for my email. Anyways what I am asking is there anyway to block emails in cpanel that are regonised by spam assassin as coming from spamers. Because those email still wind up in my inbox with info added by spam assassin for example it adds something like this :

This mail is probably spam.  The original message has been attached
along with this report, so you can recognize or block similar unwanted
mail in future.  See http://spamassassin.org/tag/ for more details.

I have tryed adding email blockers through cpanels interface for example:
$message_body begins "This mail is probably spam."
but it doesnt seem to have blocked it. Is there any easy way to block these emails through the standard cpanel control panel interface without the need to make changes to server setings, etc. thanks

Unfortunately, the email blocking won't work because the email is received then the spam header info is added. At the point when the mail filter checks the email, the spam assassin info has not been added yet.

You can however have all email tagged as spam moved to a folder called spam instead of your inbox. I am not aware of another way to block them easily at the server level.

Try to filter messages in you MUA.

lol i just discovered under filters there is an option for SpamAssassin Spam Header

Guess i should have looked there in the first place. btw it used to not be there
