Beware of the Previoius DreamServe owner Dave Duck*****. He is a 13 year old kid who in the matter of 72 hours has screwed atleast 2 companies, impersonated several people including his own mother when we confronted him, told lies, took money for Server Management from customers and not paid to the NOC's therefor not actually ordering the Management Service. So all NOC's and WebHosting companies beware....

He will also ask companies (we have a list going of who he has asked so far) to get an "apprenticeship" type deal with a web hosting company and state that he is 13 from Englan and just learning ssh and etc such as installing kernel and other software. If you have any information, please post here or PM to us.

It was hardly a "company buying a company". It was a pocket money deal for 3 accounts.

I really dont see the point of this post. The only people likely to be affected are those looking for "free server admins". No real host would take on anyone like that.

He knows Dave is no longer the owner. He is trying to gather information on Dave to prevent him from scamming others.

Correct Dave is No Longer the owner, Kyle from SE Networks is, however Kyle and I both have logs of Dave pretending to be someone else tryign to start a new company. I always seem to attract em, First James/Arther with Reyox/AtWebHost/Whatever It is Now and Now Dave/Mikey/Jay with DreamServe that lies. Sheesh what next?

Im trying to point out the fact that his only scam remaining is to try and get in and work for other hosts. He does this by offering his services for free (he actually made this offer to us using the name "Mak").

Any host who accepts someone into there staff for free and then entrusts them with anything risky such as root passes or supplier information is asking for trouble, its just common sense guys.

Matt i agree. He has tried Mikey, Mak, Jay, David (not the same as Dave according to him), he has even tried his parents name. The way it holds, a company has him under a Non Competance Agreement even though he is 13 it could still be held responsible to his parents so i dont think he will be talking

I would agree with you there, anyone who came to me with such a request would be dismissed immediately. Trusting someone you don't know with such access is just asking for something to go wrong...
