I just got a Raq3 setup and need help installing MySQL and PHP, does any body know of a useful besides the cobalt knowledge base and php.net and mysql.net?

You should try reading some books like Unix Unleashed etc... These will give you a basic understanding of Unix which will help when you encounter problems/situations like this one. Other than that just keep playing around until you get it.

Raq3 don't use Unix. They use Linux as far as i know of, so get Linux Unleashed instead of Unix Unleashed

i installed php/mysql on both our raq2 and raq3's

Simple, for the RAQ3, go to Cobalts Knowlege base and get the files to download for the raq3 and install mysql before php. Or I can do it for $100...its really simple...

GET ON THE COBALT MAILING LIST!! LOTS can be learned from it. The link is on cobalts site..

As a follow up, you don't have to join the list to reap the rewards. There is a section where you can do searches for things you need.

If you get on the list, be prepared to receive in the upwards of 40 mails per day. Some junk, some good.

Who is your upline, they may do it for you.
