user can't view sites on server

A user emailed this to me. I have no idea how to go about this since everything on the server is running and everyone else can view his site.

Quote:
I went to check my email at about 7pm EST today. The Outlook could not connect, so I tried to bring up my web page. It timed out. I checked myrmid.net, and movie-comics.com, because I know they are on the same server as I am. They both I timed out. I assumed the server was down. I contacted the admin, and he told me the server was up and there was no problem.

I started asking around and found that everyone else could see the site just fine. I called my ISP and was informed that the problem was not on their end. I did a traceroute, and the trace got out of the ISP's servers just fine, to confirm this. The trace timed out when entering 64.5.60.xx (presumably on the Myrmid Network).

I have three, non networked computers sharing the same static ip cable connection, and none of them can connect to the site, so it is not a problem within the computer config. It appears to be a conflict problem between my IP and the IP of the server on which my website is hosted. It would seem my IP got blocked from the server somehow.
Any ideas? I don't have any blocks that I see. The user is from the Eastern US on Adelphia cable.

Well the router 64.5.60.84 filters icmp which is why the traceroute did not work. Run iptables -L to see if his ip happens to be blocked on your server.

If he has three computers that aren't networked how are they sharing the cable cable connection?
