Need some help in choosing a good service provider for reseller hosting
Hello,
This is my very first post in this forum.
I need some help in choosing a good service provider for reseller hosting. It will be great if the members here can suggest some hosting providers
The things that I am basically looking at:
1) An entity which is far far far far.... far away from EIG and all its manifestations.
2) As I will be just starting out in the reseller arena, I want to start in a small way, 15 dollars a month maybe.
3) I will manage the support for my clients on my own, so won't need end user support.
4) An European location will be good, great if it is Singapore. Compared to US locations latency is less in these areas from my location.
5) Cpanel and a decent billing software is also needed. Looks like WHMCS is an industry standard, but I doubt at $15 a month budget, I would be able to get one.

whmcs cost is $15.95[upto 250 clients] that is already higher than your budget.
resellerclub offer free whmcs but
you can also check in offer section there hosting provider offer and couponcodes
but if any provider not provide whmcs because of high cost
than choose blesta[https://licensecart.com/] billing system there price is good when you grow than move to whmcsLast edited by mhostingin; 10-26-2016 at 02:13 PM.

Seriously, with your budget, it'd be best to check the offers section for current promotions and deals that members here are offering (that you won't find on their sites). Good luck with your search, sir.

Check out Linovus.hosting. I just got a reseller account from them last week. They're very patient in migrating my sites from Directadmin to cPanel.. Jason and the support team are very friendly as well.. I think they still have a promo for FREE WHMCS. Check the reseller forum.

Hi neburchadnezzer,
Welcome to WHT!
With your budget, I don't know if you would be able to find a plan that includes a free WHMCS license but you should definitely shop around.
I'd recommend adding Cloudlinux and self-service backups to your wish list.
Good luck with your search!Zen Hosting

Thanks everyone for your valuable inputs. So the gist of all of your responses is that, at a budget of $15 I should not be expecting a WHMCS license. After searching around, I feel it is a fair suggestion. Maybe I will have to look at some free alternatives to WHMCS or I might just have to push my budget to around 25 dollars a month, if I have to have a well supported billing software (even if it is not WHMCS).
Also going through the various threads here at WHT, I could see that Stablehost, Crocweb and a few others have a very good reputation. Again between Stablehost and Crocweb, crocweb seems to offer a clientexec billing license bundled. Not sure if Stablehost offers one. But location wise stablehost offers an European location (assuming they allow reseller accounts there.)
So which one should I choose Crocweb or StableHost based on overall quality of service ...??? (Looks like reseller club is a part of EIG... most of the people don't seem to be talking in positive terms about EIG/ EIG partners as far as quality of service is concerned.)

You mentored that EU location will work for you and have quite low budget. I would recommend you to check some Netherlands based companies and see what they can offer you. There are a a lot of providers there and lower prices. So you can have a look and check there.

I recommend Surpasshosting. They are a sub-company of Hostdime data center. They have their own data centers on different countries. Their servers are fully managed, ddos protected and running stable. The chat and email support is fast and effective every time.

It is always better to make contact with a provider before making a final decision as there is no host that is best for everyone. I'd suggest to make a list of providers based on your requirement. If any of them offers a money back guarantee, that's a plus. Then contact them directly via their support channel, ask few questions and you'll get an idea on who might turn out to be a good provider for you.
A free billing software might not bring the sweetest results. You don't have to purchase WHMCS directly from WHMCS, many hosting providers offer WHMCS at a discounted price.█||||[ MechanicWeb.com - Shared Hosting | Reseller Hosting | KVM VPS | Dedicated Server ]

mhostingin.
This is actually the cost if you purchase 1 WHMCS, the providers that purchase WHMCS in bulk amounts gets much lower pricing so getting a reseller plan with whmcs under 15 is very much possible. As an example it not the same price if you buy 100 keys vs. 5000.

I was client of them 10 years ago. They taught me how to manage cPanel and WHM and many other things.
Since 7 years ago I founded my company, I applied all my knowledge of cPanel and WHM learned in MellowHost as reseller hosting.
I have friends that I meet that are customers of them and the good rate still present. By this way, I still recomending mellowhost over the years and all over circunstances same form as knownhost, my first dedicated provider. They taught my all my knowledge of linux.
I am grateful with all people that mark my way.█ Web Hosting

I don’t find your requirement or budget too tight. This can be easily accomplished by bundling any offers. Most probably you can find some offers with every provider. You may better start making a short list of highly recommended reseller hosting providers and get in touch with them as soon as possible.

Hi, I notice last reply was 3 weeks old here but I guess it's better to reply here than open a new thread since I'm looking for a new reseller like this but with much more disk space.
Any way not sure about this company so I decide to ask here about this offer https://www.inmotionhosting.com/reseller-hosting << This looks a lot like what you looking for except the point # 1 far away from EIG and all its manifestations.
You can get all you asked for $14/m there.
Why every one think $15/m is bad budget ?
Best offers all around 25 to 50 $/m any way.
