    Need 1650 v2 ( 7 machines) or i4790k (10 machines)

Is there any bulk dealer out there ?

will send rest details to the company itself.

    Thanks

Yes, 1650 v2 is cheaper than v3 and there is hardly any performance increase.

I've tested it and i both fits my need of encoding.

4790k cause its best performer in single core speed

If you only require 7-10 systems such as this I'm sure you will be able to find a few providers in the offers section who can get you those.

You may not find exactly what your looking for in the offers section but providers aren't allowed to reach out to you per forum rules. Find a few providers that meet your general requirements (location and such) and drop them a quick PM or email to see if they can customize the servers to your exact requirement (CPU and budget). As others have said, if you need 7 to 10 of these, that shouldn't be a problem.

    Good luck!

As others have said, almost anyone can offer you something like that. It really depends on where you need them geographically, how much bandwidth, your budget, etc..

Just because these specs aren't listed in a members advertisements here doesn't mean they can't fulfill your requirement. Members are not allowed to make offers in this thread nor PM you with offers. Your best bet would be to reach out to a few providers here and compare their response, and then take it from there. Good luck, sir.

Other than the CPU requirements you have listed, what are your other requirements (storage & storage type, RAM, bandwidth etc)?

You shouldn't have any difficulties finding a provider to offer what it is you require. I'd say the best way would be to go through the offers section and compile 3 - 4 providers then reach out to them. See what they can do for you to best match your requirements and if they can meet your budget.

Surprisingly no one in the offer section is offering them try emailing some of the providers from the offer section maybe they can help you out. I know some of them have the hardware maybe just not listed.

It's rare (impossible?) to find providers with K i7 since those can be overclocked to death by a user if that is not locked somewhere in the BIOS. If you can live with non-K CPU, then I'm sure there are plenty of options out there.

Curious. Do they lock the CPU in the BIOS? I believe ours don't even offer that option if we were to swap out the CPU.

Honestly, why not just go with OVH, it sounds like you pulled those configs right from their site.

I am not looking to overclock it, Even if i did i will do it by mutual understanding of both mine and provider. Like whatever is best. Since i wanna use these for live popular site, i cannot risk any of those goes offline due to any failure.

It's not possible to overclock the OVH i7's if that's what you were asking. At least from my experience.

You should just use OVH if you need i7-4790K. I have many of them and I have had a great experience.

    1) Don't want to go with ovh since my need is not gaming but encoding video for popular movie streaming site.

    2) I am using 1650v2 from hetzner and its performing well, so i need more of them either. Or I need best cpu with single core performance according to cpubencmark which is 4790k

    3) My needs do not match ovh. Only processor match probably

The cpubenchmarks will be skewed based on overclocking as overclockers are the typical people who run benchmarks on their systems. The provider will not allow you to overclock so you really have to go by vanilla CPU performance which would probably mean i7 6700 (K or otherwise).

Don't the i7 provide CPU optimizations that assist the video encoding over the non-GPU Xeons?

Not sure of this but they have 4 cores and 1650 have 6. I can only run 1 encoder on them but on e5 i can run 2 with very little drop in fps.

Basically if you compare in time 2 videos got encoded by both servers, 1650 would do better.

If you are willing to pay reasonable price and commit for long term with a provider am sure you can get 1650v4 at price of 1650v2 unless provider has inventory of old models. In any case your best approach will be to individually contact provider of your interest and see how they respond to your requirement.

What are you running for encoding/transcoding? It does not sound right that you are limited to basically the use of a single core.

How quickly do you need these servers? What additional parameters are needed, RAM, HDD, RAID, Bandwidth? Also, which location is needed?
