Shared/VPS Hosting Recommendation
Hello,
We are looking out for Shared/VPS hosting whose servers would be hosted in the US. Please share your recommendations as to which companies we can look out for. We were using LiquidWeb till they sold off their shared hosting business to DeluxeHosting. We had numerous issues in the last 48 hours where our websites go down frequently from 10 to 2 minutes.
Please share your recommendations here instead of flooding my PM with offers.
Thank you.Specialists in Kayako Applications - Implementation, Development, Customizations & Premium Support

Providers are not allowed to give you any offers here, so anybody that does you should report.
Back on topic: how many traffic does your website use? How many visitors you have? What kind of plan do you have now? With more specs people are able to guide you to the right direction.★★★★★

Hi,
Currently we are using the top most level of shared hosting. We do not mind switching to VPS if the price is right. We run about 5-6 websites on our account but our core site - supportskins.com generates the most traffic. It generates about 2-3 GB of traffic per month.Specialists in Kayako Applications - Implementation, Development, Customizations & Premium Support

I see that your location needs are just for the USA. Are you comfortable with one location? Or do you need to spread things out?

The advantages of shared web hosting are price and server optimization - you don't have to fiddle with the server configuration yourself. However, your site can be brought down due to resource abusers or your mails may end up blacklisted because of spammers, as in the end the server you are on houses a lot of other users.
The advantages of a VPS server is the improved independence from noisy neighbors, and (in most cases) - improved resource availability. However, you will either have to take steps to optimize the server yourself to achieve maximum performance, you have to hire someone to do it for you. Additionally, if price is not an issue, you can get a managed VPS server, where the support team will be able to assist you with any sort of problems you may run into both with your site and your server.
As your website is your main source of income, I would suggest to invest a bit more in the hosting setup and get 2 VPS servers in different locations with a load balancer set up to handle both the load and the availability of your site, giving you that extra peace of mind.█ ResellersPanel.com - 16 years of experience in reseller hosting

With that amount of traffic, I don't see why you would need a VPS. If you have multiple sites, get a reseller account instead. You can put each site under its own control panel and both and performance will be better.

You have large amount of traffic, instead of VPS, I would suggest grab Reseller hosting. You can host multiple site in reseller hosting, you can get unlimited cPanel. It also gives you better result in terms of performance.

I recommend a Shared account as your site doesn't need a VPS going by traffic. But I'd use a provider who offers more resources CPU/MEM/IO wise so you have less trouble with your websites stability and performance wise.
You may want to switch to Google Apps for better email deliverability too as it's too easy for Shared IP to be blacklisted nowadays.HostXNow - Shared Web Hosting | Semi Dedicated Hosting | Enterprise Reseller Hosting | VPS Hosting

You should set your destination considering the advantages you would like to take from your host. Most of the hosts should be having at least one or two of their highlighted features and stress on this to find out the one which suits you the most.
Getting in touch directly with the hosts on your list is also a good idea to understand the way they respond and all.█ InnoHosting, Performance Web Hosting || US: 1-888-522-INNO UK: 0800 612 8075

MDD and Squidix are good.
Stablehost calls their semi-dedicated "enterprise". Also good.|| Need a good host?

Lots of great recommendations so far and I don't think you'd go wrong with any of them - well, except for Hostgator. Good luck with your search, sir.

Go where you feel comfortable and valued as a customer. Keeping in mind your requirements. Most hosts have a 99.9% up-time, rarely do they go down, unless regular maintenance is required and even then, there's a backup plan in place to guarantee up-time. I would find myself speaking hindi to some just to communicate better. Good luck to you.
