just wondering was looking through domains today and over the last year we transferred our domains from go daddy to

registerfly and register4less.

Now all the domains we transfered have the transfer date as the start of registration date ?

That's not good. It should retain the original registration date. E.g. I moved timechange.com from NetSol to Godaddy to Enom and the original date was still retained.

Most of the time the date is not retained. There have been other threads on the various forums where people have questioned someon's "been in business" date by looking at the registration date of their site but that is completely misleading.
