that doesnt answer what the limits are, we are still blind, I would like a number, is it 10 gigs a month, or is it 200 gigs a month, I guess I'm a bit of a control freak but I like to know from month to month if im in trouble.

You would be safely hosted at between 10GB with cgi use, above that we would have to negotiate a better solution. (such as a full or shared dedicated server).

I think what ihoppoet is trying to say is that it makes no sense to go into a business agreement with so many unknowns. What if you weren't able to negotiate a better solution, as you say would be necessary?

Would you buy a new car with a big blank spot where the interest figure should be?

I'm not trying to bash your service. I stay away from these threads, because I have my own web hosting business and don't want to appear to be biased. However, I think you're going to find that if you close up these holes, and stop making claims like "Unmetered Traffic" there are going to be less questions, which ultimately will lead to more customers.

negotiate a better solution? well here is the solution, I paid for unlimited BW, and thats what I will get, or I will see you go out of buisness.

btw 10 gigs? I can find a real host that offers 10 gigs for less that 6 a month. 10 gigs isn't much

I understand what you are saying. I have been considering clearly stating a bandwith range, and your arguements further push me in that direction.

When they're only offering 25 MBs of space, I really don't think they will have a problem with bandwidth "abuse" for the majority of their users...

Maybe this is why they didn't bother coming up with a bandwidth limit? I would actually suggest using the term "unmonitored bandwidth" in this case.

For example, Master Sites runs a free hosting service and we don't even check to see what the bandwidth usage is per site. As long as we stay under the allotted bandwidth for that server, it really doesn't matter.

Basically, my point is that with small space, bandwidth really is not an issue...
