    After I catch a Pikachu I can die in piece... Personally, I've had a lot of near death experiences... But would be cool to live till like 100, I like triple digits.

    This, and of course when the big man above (in heaven) says so. I believe everyone has a purpose, and you just do your best and when the time comes it comes.

    In response to the opening thread, I would prefer "kick the bucket" before my body would severely start to "break down" physically or mentally. I personally would not want to be a burden or hardship to my immediate family or friends and have them take care of me because of me breaking down physically or mentally. So whether I pass away in my 50's 60' or whatever, I would be happy if at all possible to to "kick the bucket" right before that phase begins.

    That is a noble way of approaching it. When you "kick the bucket", how much time would you want for your family to adjust to it before it occurs?

    It is not important how much you live, it is important the quality of life and what you achieved in life. I'll say instead to live like a "sheep" for 100 years, is better to live 50 like a "wolf" with dignity and no compromises. This world is bad because people are doing too many compromises for money.

    As for me in a perfect world, I would say a couple of years since the time for a body to start debilitating can be gradual in some cases but in others the "wheels can just fall off" in a matter of months. Hopefully in my case my body physically and mentally will not break down so rapidly and severely that others are taken off guard.

    I would not say I fear death nearly as much as I fear the possibility of cognitive decline in old age. But hopefully that's a long way away!

    Until then I plan to live forever (or die trying)

    I'm hoping to go past 80, but you never know.

  12. #37

    80?

    As much as i can get. I would say 70-80, however who knows where medical treatment would go to this time...
    I've heard scientits have found the gene responsilbe for the aging process and not to mention developing trans-humanism. Now the real question is if you do want to live forever...

    Sorry for your loss,
    lost my father and grandpa 2 years ago , my grandpa died on a monday and my dad the next sunday, surreal week and ride. Impossible not to think about the next step, the metaphysical side of it, and the spiritual side of it. Im 40 and im more puzzled by death after the passing away of my granddad and my dad, still really coping with the meaning.

    My dad died at 65 from a stroke , my grandpa 88 from liver malfunction.

    Im my case i would like to die the day that i dont find a reason to keep going or right after a surfing session hopefully > 75

    Difficult topic, even more difficult than ddos attacks

    me too :-)

    Really its good & hard question;
    not any one would get the answer; depends on his age,
    First ; I'm so sorry for your loss,

    I have loss many of my family and friends; whether they die cause of age, or they die in accidents (suddenly). I still remember them every time in good occasions.
    I was caring of my father and my grandmother;
    I don’t wish someone to take care of me even to bathroom me,
    because I know that’s hard for others to do even for my children.
