I do not think you are going to get much cheaper than that really.

Using the promotion code you can get an EV SSL for $83.53 for the year. https://www.cheapsslshop.com/comodo-ev-ssl

If your willing to go with a one year only deal then switch this one for $59.99 is a good deal. https://www.cyberssl.com/ssl-certificates/instantssl-with-free-ev

$89 is the cheapest we have seen through Comodo which was a brief special. Hold onto your seat through the validation process as it is a bit more of a hassle with the extended validation as the name indicates.

Exactly this. It's best if you make sure you and your client are prepared to address all of these items before even starting the process.

I've had good luck with GoGetSSL, they have a Comodo EV for under $50 (looks to be a one-time offer) or under $90 with a two year purchase. Given the verification process, I'd recommend getting a two year certificate if at all possible.

It's kind of like getting new tags for your car here - you'd rather commit to multiple years rather than just do it for one year because of the hoops that you have to jump through.

The cheapest you'll find it is directly through the issuing company. So you can either go to comodo, geotrust and others and try to find if they have a deal going on. A reseller for them would not really be able to sell for cheaper and make a profit so you'll probably not find it.

I have been using from Namecheap but the normal one for multiple domains. Not the special Green one yet but i think their prices are cheaper.

    I also prefer - https://ssl.comodo.com/

Very much doubt you can find something cheaper than Namecheap, baring in mind they don't sacrifice quality and customer service with their cheap prices.

Namecheap is a good option as majority of the time you will get a better deal on SSLs if you go via someone reselling SSL as they sell in bulk. But seems like Cheap SSL Shop is offering another deal:
    https://www.cheapsslshop.com/comodo-ev-ssl

You can grab the EV SSL for $79/year now.

I think that is always good option and not forbidden - contact your potential provider and ask them if they can provide you with some discount?
I think discount can depend on the number of the licensees you are going to purchase.
