If your content complies with Australian law then you're more than welcome to give our services a try.
I actually asked the question because I was interested in extending the discussion in that direction, which at least in my mind is important if you don't want your site taken down. I am assuming this is why you do not want it hosted in the U.S.?0

Most shared hosting services allow adult content/porn, with the exception of nulled forum scripts. As long as you're not using nulled vBulletin/IPB, you're free to host anywhere you like.
I do prefer European countries for this, though and a managed VPS is more suited to your needs.
If you're intent on using offshore shared hosting, you should give the offers section on WHT a shot.0

Do you need FFmpeg? Maybe most shared hosting providers assume you need it which maybe the reason they tell you they don't allow adult content because usually FFmpeg type tools aren't supported in shared hosting environments. That said, many do offer it if you look around. If your forum does not require ffmpeg for the forum to run, then it should be fine to run on all providers who allow adult content. Or maybe most won't allow adult content due to restrictions with LiteSpeed Web Server, if so use provider which runs Apache 2.4 which can be configured to run just as fast as LiteSpeed.

Since it's down for me as well (looks like the web or app server is not processing the requests properly), here you go: http://i.imgur.com/8m4xK80.png ( @DeltaAnime I'm counting on your DMCA).

I'm under the impression that you people are not paying attention to my original post. I clearly mentioned that I need a hosting plan that has over 20 GB disk space. You keep recommending me hosting companies whose largest shared plans hardly reach 10 GB.

Same question...
Hi.
I'll write my first post here in this thread instead of opening a new one since I feel that it fits in this existing thread.
What I'm looking for:
I'm also looking for a (new) shared hosting provider that allows legal adult content (pornography; which is to my knowledge not legal for example in Saudi-Arabia). I'm currently still with Arvixe which I apparently joined just before they were bought by EIG. Just now I read about this whole issue with EIG. It explains the troubles I had with support and also false invoicing and blacklisted mail servers.
I'm looking for a shared web hosting provider with the following requirements:
- allows legal adult content (forget about Saudi-Arabia etc)
- is reliable and trustworthy
- satisfying support (I'm not an expert, but I have at least some experience in this topic)
- monthly bandwidth should be at least 20 GB
- hosting plan should include at least 5 domains
- For a Wordpress sites (so at least PHP 5.2, MySQL, cronjobs, GD2 library etc.)
- ffmpg would be nice, but not necessary
- Monthly price around $ 10 maximum
I would really like to read from people that have personal experience with providers. I was thinking of exmasters.com and also nakedhosting.com (parent company certified hosting). When I was choosing a provider for my adult website about 2 years ago I remember that I had nakedhosting and Arvixe as final options..unfortunately I can't remember why I did not take nakedhosting.
Some own experience to share:
Since sharing is caring, I want to provide here my own humble experience that I have gathered so far regarding web hosting providers. Note that I only operate websites for my own amusement. Currently it's just a hobby, I don't earn anything with them. This means that I don't check every feature that might be important for someone who needs it for professional purposes.
all-inkl.com: German based web hoster. No adult content allowed. Good support, working good as I experienced it. Only in German.
orangewebsite.com: Offshore web hoster from Iceland. Anonymous, anti NSA. Adult content allowed though in my opinion not the best for solely that purpose. Fast support (they really reply quickly).
Arvixe: Enough said to that already. :-(
Edit: This one was replaced with stars, so it's a company for domain registration not web hosting (invoicing with registered domains at Arvixe has been a problem). ******** (domains, not webhosting): I moved some of my domains to ******** recently. Pricing is very good. It seems to be okay so far.
Thanks.0

Well, many are web hosting companies themselves, and a host cannot recommend itself to you. Maybe that's why you are not getting enough recommendations? The best way to get more recommendations is to come up with a list of potential providers and then ask people which are better. There is no better alternative than digging up and investing a good amount of time in doing so. While you do so contact the potential hosts directly and tell them about your requirement. Some may even come up with a custom plan that meets your requirement.
I would not suggest hosting more than 2/3 domains under a single cPanel account. If the sites are busy, then 1 domain should be at best. The more domains you put under a cPanel account, the poorer the performance will be. Because on a cPanel based server, server resources (RAM, CPU, IOPS etc.) are allocated on a per cPanel basis and not per domain. These are costly resources and responsible for your site performance.█||||[ MechanicWeb.com - Shared Hosting | Reseller Hosting | KVM VPS | Dedicated Server ]

Hmmm...I haven't considered that so far. Good point, though it probably depends on the amount of visitors I am able to get (which is currently not very high).
Don't know for sure if you can answer this here, but is mehanicweb allowing adult content? What about ffmpg?0

If you have low traffic and low resource consumption, you should separate the home directories for each domain, and I'd suggest using something above the default public_html.
Well, contacting directly is a better approach Since you asked, we allow legal adult content, no FFmpeg. I don't think running FFmpeg on a shared hosting is a good idea.█||||[ MechanicWeb.com - Shared Hosting | Reseller Hosting | KVM VPS | Dedicated Server ]

Thanks for the replies.
For my purposes shared hosting indeed should be enough. I can upgrade later if necessary.
Would be interesting to hear some opinions of clients and about their experiences in this issue.0

Until now everything was working fine.0
