    Vcd -> Mpeg

    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone knows what software to use to convert VCDs into MPEG video files which can be stored on your computer?

    Thank you very much.

    Ripping, eh? Have you tried looking into CDex? http://cdexos.sourceforge.net. I'm not sure if it can do just that though.
    Have you Floble'd today?

    I just noted that CDex deals with audio files completely (WAV, MP3, OGG, VQF, APE, etc)

    You do know that a VCD is an mpeg right? Look for the largest file on the disk. Something.dat. Rename to whatever.mpeg. Problem solved .

    Actually, there are some headers that should be changed, just search for a program called dat2mpg.

    I still think mpg = dat, for vcd.

    I used it b4, it was just the same
