Windows Backup progs?


Hi all I am in need - for personla use. A backup program and do not know the best and was wondering if anyone knew of any - for windows XP pro.

I would liek it so that it is easy to use and backs up newley added files, and edited files (also folders etc) as there are 4 main partitions I needed to be backed up every day ish that I use.

Anyone got any decent info on this please reply

One of the best unattended backup programs I've used is Second Copy. Once you set it up, it runs when you've set it for, and copies new and changed files, etc..

See if you can find a copy of Backup Exec on eBay.

I would say it kinda depends on what backup device you use.

I believe you can run the included backup software by winxp to backup your computer.

For simpler management, I would suggest looking at veritas backup exec that supports wide array of backup devices.

Agreed with Edwow... Windows XP comes with a backup system and it can be scheduled as well. And since you already have it, it would be free to use.

If the data is super critical, then you may want to look at Veritas Backup Exec like others have prescribed.
