    Per https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/pricing/ ;

Data Transfer OUT From Amazon EC2 To Internet
First 1 GB / month $0.00 per GB
Up to 10 TB / month $0.09 per GB
On Amazon that 9,000GB bandwidth is going to cost you 8999* $0.09 which is $809.91. For a lot of customers AWS data transfer pricing is a deal breaker, which is why a lot of smaller providers continue to exist and often be the favorable option.

For that kind of single server setup, I wonder if AWS is the way to go?

If you could split your application up across 5-10 servers and use a reliable VPS provider like Linode that may be a LOT cheaper and more reliable if you use multiple locations of theres.

    For example if you got 4 x Linode 4GB VPS @ $40/ea = $160 with 16TB of data transfer (and 16GB ram)!

    AWS for example:
    t2.medium $38.07
    vCPU: 2
    RAM: 4GB

    85GB EBS Volume: $10.63
    9000GB AWS Data out: $809.91

    Total: $857.35

Currently i use Knownhost vps-3 plan @ $42.5 only then why must i pay so much for this on AWS.
I have heard about AWS being offering its services at cheap price but thats not true i think.

AWS isn't cheap, but they do provide predictable performance on their EC2 VMs.

Data transfer is what is going to drive the cost up. The AWS server itself is only $50.

If you don't really need 9TB of data transfer that price comes down but at the same time your options on providers also increases.

Can you provide me an alternative so that i can use AWS and use bandwidth service on other service provider.

You didn't even use up to 90GB bandwidth
AWS is not cheap, if it were no one will be trying to do private cloud

Ya but that usage is of single day i think.
And can you tell me how can we know if our bill is going out of budget in AWS(Some kind of alarm system i guess).

That is a lot of bandwidth for a server that only has 2GB of RAM. I would start by reviewing if I can take that bandwidth down.

    Have you tried optimizing it?

    Re

AWS is gonna cost you some bucks! It will come between $50 - $60. You really need to bring down your bandwidth usage mate! You can limit the bandwidth usage.

The same specs you have would cost you a fortune if fully utilized on AWS. But as your stats show, you won't be fully using them. You could save money in AWS or any other provider for that instance.

AWS is very reliable, and reliability comes with great cost. I think sticking to your current provider might be the best option.
