It mainly depends on if the domain name has any meaning. There are plenty of three character domains that expire every day and they are expiring for a reason. For instance today there are 16 .coms and 6 .nets that have expired and become available.

Well it does have meaning I would suppose, but I don't want to tell anyone the domain just incase it does have good meaning and someone goes and buys it and it ends up being worth $300

If it *might* be worth $300, then I'd say $10 is a pretty safe investment, unless of course your counting on the $10 to buy food for your family or something.

But since I don't imagine that's the case, I'd take the gamble.

You can add me on MSN and we can discuss it, or just e-mail me, I won't go register it on you, I'm not into domains. This is only if you want some more accurate advice.

3 CHARACTER domains tend not to sell for much unless they have some common meaning. 3 letter/3number domains carry a much higher premium. a .com will sell for at least 300$. If you need people to take a look and give you advice, I recommend SafeSys, Snoopy, Mattyp from www.domainstate.com They are all very honest and very trustworthy guys. They also are professionals in the domain business and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with domains.
