I get this error:

How do I enable Gzip on my server. Is it a good idea or a bad one?

GZip isn't necessity for site working I'm think.

Check phpinfo to see if it has been enable or not.

I've seen a similiar error where a script was conflicting with a module within itself. In other words the script was calling for GZIP compression on a called up page, twice....

Without knowing more about what script is giving you this error, it will be next to impossible to determine...

Here is my phpinfo http://waterwolfhosting.com/phpinfo.php I see ob_gzhandler but I don't see a disable or enable tha tells you.

If someone don't mind would they go look at it and tell me if I should enable/disable something.

regardless of if you run phpNuke, any script that comes up with that error can be fixed by following the directions in the link I posted above.

I'd say gzip is pretty useful -- it might increase load on the server side, but definitely reduces site load time.

I'm such a newb sometimes. I get that error because the places that are trying to enable it are using a versions 3.0 and GZip need 4.0
