Does cobalt 4 supports Webalizer 2.01???

The latest version of webalizer is 2.01 at
http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/ .

but colbalt's package website, http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/ , only have links to version 1.3.

Does it mean the cobalt 4 doesn't support the latest version of webablizer? have anyone of you guys installed v2.01 on your server? Does it work?

There's a Webalizer 2.01 .pkg file for Cobalts at http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/

I haven't heard of anyone that's tried this version though, so I have no idea how well it works.

We're running 2.01 from http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/ ...works beautifully. We run some of the other addons listed there as well. Haven't had a problem yet.

Please note: The stats are placed in www.domain.com/~stats and not as the Cobalt ones in www.domain.com/stats. This is because I have had reports of FrontPage extentions not working correctly otherwize. Also, a MIPS version is underway and should be up in the next couple of days...

erm... guess what I did....lol

That's cool!

I will uninstall my webalizer 1.3 and try 2.01 instead. Hope it will have more features

I just installed the webalizer 2.01 from

http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/ on my server.

But when I type the url

http://www.mydomain.com/~stats

I see this messge:

Code:
File Not Found

The requested URL was not found on this server.

Do I need to wait a few days before I can see any reports?

The stats will start at 4am on the morning after installation.

You could also run it manually the first time to make sure everything is runinning ok

Is the stats reported by webalizer accurate? When I login to the stats screen, the total KBytes transfered is for the month is 77GB, how can this be??? I just installed it yesterday!

It looks like all webalizer do is monthly statistics. It would be better if I can see the daily stats....

Question 2:

For top 50 URL's generated by webalizer, it only counts the number of successful file transfer(HTTP status code 200), right?
