New certification demonstrates ReadySpace’s commitment to open source technologies

SINGAPORE – ReadySpace, a leading cloud service provider in Asia Pacific, announced today that it has joined the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program.
Announced in July 2015, the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program allows cloud service providers such as ReadySpace to deliver private cloud build-outs, Linux infrastructure and platform-as-a-service solutions based on Red Hat’s market-leading open source technologies.
“Many of our customers that are building their businesses on open source software and Linux servers are demanding Red Hat’s industry-leading open source solutions to run mission-critical workloads in both private and hybrid cloud environments,” said David Loke, CEO, ReadySpace.
“As a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider, we will be able to better meet the needs of those customers by providing enterprise-class support and reliability, while at the same time expand our breadth of Red Hat solutions.”
From today, ReadySpace customers will have access to a broad range of Red Hat solutions including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP HANA, OpenShift by Red Hat, Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, and Red Hat JBoss Middleware.

Under the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program, each cloud service provider must meet testing and certification requirements to demonstrate that they can deliver a safe, scalable, supported and consistent environment for enterprise cloud deployments.

“As our Red Hat solution offerings are validated by Red Hat experts, our customers will have the confidence of a stable and trusted open source cloud platform that they can use to build next-generation IT projects,” Loke said. “Further, with our award-winning cloud security and our recent Multi-Tier Cloud Security Standard for Singapore (MTCS SS) certification, ReadySpace customers can be confident in the security of their mission-critical applications.”
The certification was achieved with the support of Rhipe, an appointed channel distributor for the Certified Cloud and Service Provider program in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, providing cloud service providers, hosting providers and system integrators access to the Red Hat solutions portfolio to enable their infrastructure and that of their customers

Damien Wong, senior director and general manager, ASEAN, Red Hat, said: "Red Hat is pleased to work with Rhipe to bring ReadySpace on board as a Certified Cloud and Service Provider and will work to help ReadySpace bring the benefits of Red Hat technologies to enterprise customers in the cloud”.

Patara Yongvanich, Managing Director, Rhipe South-East Asia, added: “Rhipe is very honoured to work with ReadySpace as their cloud aggregator to help them deliver enterprise level cloud hosting solutions with the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider (CCSP) program. The regional presence and technical expertise of ReadySpace allows them to address the growing market demand for Cloud Service Providers to help customers lower their total cost of ownership through platform agnostic offerings”.
