Question

instabill or not?

I'm going to be selling physical and digital goods and they are one of the only payment processors that will do both.

Plus they don't have a setup fee.

I'd like for my company's name to appear on customers statements.

Should I do go with instabill or will I be disapponted?

Thanks, Greg

You can not have your company's name on your customer's statements. Other than that I would recommend Instabill.

How much are the items you are selling? If they are under 15.00 then Instalbill is a good choice. However if they are more expensive that 10% fee starts taking a big chunk of change. If that is the case Revecom.com would be a better choice.

Any more suggestions guys? Here are my requirements -

1) Sell Digital and Physical goods

2) My company name appears on customer bill

3) Startup fees are not expensive

I looked at revecom but they charge different setup fees for physical and digital sales?

Thanks! Greg

Greg, I believe for this to happen you'd have to have a full merchant account. Although Revecom says something about this on their site, members have reported that they no longer offer this, and I doubt any 3rd party processor would offer this.

instabill has charged some of my clients twice! and they still wouldn't pay us. And still they've been charging my clients.

So both my clients and me are losers in this game.

If only I can find that billing solution soon because I think instabill is stealing money from us.

I can just say, stay away from instabill.

I'd recommend Revecom if you want to keep start-up costs to a minimum.

Chooken* is right. Revecom apparently used to do this but they don't any longer (maybe via legal advice). The only real way to get your name on people's credit statement to bill them directly yourself, usually through a merchant account. Anything else offered that does this is something to look at

* not a typo btw... Chook is AU for chicken

I believe worldpay has there name and your name on the bill, better than just their name.
