Question

Graphical Objects in browser windows?

I have created a html page with a grid created with a table. I want to be able to drag an object over the grid in the browser window. The object must be rectangular and be resizable like in a graphics editior package.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what language to look at? e.g. dhtml / javascript etc?

Any help appreciated.

Java applet. Though you may have to recreate your grid from within the application.

You can also consider using Flash.

DHTML should be able to do this as well but Flash has probably got a lot more tutorials and examples available on the web.
