We are looking to start our own merchant gateway.
We were with Merchant Online but they took advantage of us royally then lost most of our transactions and it seems went out of business.
Now we are with authorize.net but are spending upwards of $500.00 a month in transaction fees with them.
We are looking to open our own gateway, similar to authorize.net, not only for ourselves but maybe as a business in itself. Any suggestions on where to start?? We have looked for multiple merchant online software solutions but have had little luck.
I imagine cost an security will be an issue but I am pretty sure we have that taken care of.
Suggestions, ideas, comments, etc??
