How many email only users on a RaQ4?

I am selling email accounts on my RaQ4. some log in via POP3 but the vast majority have their addresses automatically forwarded to their "real" address. They are all personal users, not business.

Each email address is set up as a user for that domain and email forwarding is set up accordingly. They are given 20MB space, which if they really wanted to they could use for personal webspace, but nobody has done that yet as it's not the main point of having the address.

From what I can see the load on the system for this kind of activity is very low, but I need to find out if I am likely to experience problems once I reach X users.

The question is, what is the value of X?

Hi,
I have a raq4 which does web, email, mysql and FTP and has 500 email accounts with ease, so I think you would probably get 800-1000 POP users, assuming you have a good amount of RAM.

That's great, thank you. I am thinking of dropping my prices substantially because signups are too slow and this will really help me do the mathematics. I think I'll need about 120 or so to break even. At the current rate I only need 20 to break even but I think my prices are too high.
