Reselling from a dedicated server - what about nameservers?
I want to start offering reseller plans, and to do this I will be buying a dedicated server with Cpanel installed. The only thing I am confused about (as of now anyway) is how I would give each customer their own custom nameservers. Can someone please explain?

your provider
i think that you should ask your provider
for the ip(s) needed.
then you set up your dns on the server with WHM
your client has to register ns for the domain with the registrar control panel.
i think that's the way !

If you dont know how to do this you probably dont know that much about server administration, how do you plan to support your customers? They are more demading than normal hosting customers.
Reseller plans are an endagered species... TiServers coming soon.

you will give your client 2 ips. (they will know what to do with these 2 ips) Then log in WHM, add them as reseller, add what feature you want to allow them to see in their WHM.
You all set. Simple eh?◊ James | sales@vnpixel.com |
