The majority of medium and large web hosting companies have affiliate systems, however I believe most of them do monthly payouts, not weekly as it's very time consuming.

Keep in mind you won't get credit for affiliate sales under 3-4 months after the sale as they need to make sure it wasn't fraud before paying out on it.

Yes I am aware of that ... for my 90% of clients, I will be buying 1 year hosting plan so there wont be any issue that they will cancel it before that because I will be the one who will handle all their web development.

I found some good web hosts but I want to go for best that is best for me and my clients as well

I may have misunderstood but do you intend to be the referring affiliate for the hosting plans you buy on behalf of your clients'?

I guess that's exactly what he meant. Though he would have to use a different payment method everytime he buys an account on behalf of his clients. Might not work out as intended

Yes I will buy hosting on their behalf

That's kind of abusing the affiliate system, is it not? In the end, the host will be paying you for having multiple accounts, not bringing in new clients.
Why aren't you looking at reseller plans?

Well ... host will get new clients & I will use my clients details in host panel, only thing I will use mine is to make payment.
If you ask me personally, I don't want to do this on their back, I will ask host permmission before I start my work.

If you use your own credit card to pay but the account is in the client's name, your order is likely bound to get flagged by the host, due to the name on the card being different by the one in the form, and you could be asked to provide further details (like scanned copies of documents and such).
I suggest you go with reseller hosting.

But as he wrote, you can check with the host beforehand.

I do exactly the same thing with two hosts that I use for my clients (one in Aus, one in the US), I contacted them and explained the situation, that basically it was simply me doing a service for them for their first year of hosting, with account in their name and once site was live all contact info their's, and they had no problem with that.

It is exactly the same as if I provided them with my affiliate link and had them do it themselves, I'm simply providing a service for them while bring my host new clients. Don't see why any host would have an issue with that personally?

Best thing is for you is selecting a Reseller package. It's cheaper and you can earn more than you'll earn by affiliating

"Best" is subjective. I offered host reselling for a while, and then realised that made me the client's first port of call if their site went down, or if they stopped receiving emails. No thanks, the web hosting is done by someone that is a specialist in that area, and they can address these kinds of hosting issues.

Then you can purchase support package with the web hosting. It will save your time with these kind of situations.

Why not simply have the client "own" the hosting?

As I've said, I do this with my clients, and the hosts I use and contacted about it beforehand had zero issues with it, and were happy to have me recommending their service.

This is what you need to do, because if you don't, each one you refer will end up getting blocked since the order details/IP etc will likely be the same and trip the fraud filters.

Also ask your host, whether they offer one time commission or recurring commission. Usually, recurring commission will get you more income in long run .

Don't throw out all the suggestions given to you here because that is exactly what you should expect with any host out there.

The best deal you will be able to make depends on how many accounts do you think you can sign-up in a month.

You should also look for the minimum payout amounts required by many web host affiliate programs. There is a two factor requirement, referred customer retention time and minimum payout balance before you can collect your money.

Many affiliate programs especially the bigger ones will not allow what you are doing. You have to have your customer purchase the hosting.

Very few programs will pay out at that sort of frequency, there's normally a necessary minimum period between signup and being able to withdraw to cover due to the number of 'affiliate scams' that get run.

That said, if you're regularly bringing over new clients, then once the initial wait period(s) are over, the income can build up quite nicely

I think if the host uses WHMC for billing it can be done by adding you to the additional contacts in there members panel. You would have to first register in the billing panel using their name and info. Then go to the panel and put your information in the contacts. There are check boxes to indicate what you are allowed to do and one of the is to View & Manage Affiliate Account

I hope this helps a bit.

    Yes you can

What we did with a technical school was to have the instructor open an account in our members panel (No products just affiliate activation) and when students bought hosting in the referral box they put the teachers name. You can ask any host that you may want to use, if they would do this for you. It is not hard if they use WHMCS.

With most webhosting companies. This won't be allowed. Affiliate programs are generally for banner traffic and referred signups and not self signups.
