coloate or not?

Ok, its hot today and rainy. I like rain but its too damn hot, instead of smoking outside I came in here and started reading posts on coloation. I never want to coloate, I hate leaving my server with someone else. I hear all these bad stories of this and that happening, and well honestly I do not want it to happen with me. I want to do webhosting, been doing free webhosting for over a year. I got the software, I have a nice well, its an ok new server, nothing too great, I got a nice generater here for power backup. I have a line. But every day as we are getting this server ready, I have doughts about if people will buy from us. We have a sdsl line that can easily hit its max, it is never down, but we dont have enough ips, so it would have to be namebased virtual hosting. If I ever decided to upgrade and get more, that would mean a whole new block, and a whole lot of changing. Anyhoot, I relized no one wants to buy from someone who hosts on a sdsl line, so I have decided to coloate. I want to try and get a place in chicago, someplace I can do a 20 min drive to if I ever needed to basicly. What I need help on is if anyone knows of any place in chicago, Im going to start searching now but I would like some opinions. Thanks

Im having a horrible time finding a host. I eather see
$100/20GB
or
$10/1gig

Isent this a very bad thing? Plus so many people dont give any details. I took a lokk at viero or whatever, and their checklist showed something in chicago, but I have no Idea, I sent emails to a few. I mean, shouldnt there be something like 3 a gig or so as a average price? I mainly looking for someone to sell be 1megabit.
