Which ModernBill Do I Download?

Hi

Logged into the ModernBill Download center and am a bit confused as to which one I should download.

I run cpanel/whm and the server is red hat 7.3

What is Ioncube?

What is Zend?

Here are my options to download:

4.0.2 8.1 full enc_ioncube 3.39MB
4.0.2 8.1 full enc_zend 2.05 MB

Just confused as to which one is the right one for me.

Thanks
Farouk

Those are the things we need to be installed to run MB. Read the documentation and you will find some very helpful information.

MB cannot run without Zend installed (not sure about IonCube, maybe the new stuff just added.)

Just follow the instructions, download it, compile and install it and upload your MB to the directory (binary and ascii upload makes some difference here), the upload your license key.

enc_ioncube runs with PHP accelerator/Ioncube (www.phpaccelerator.co.uk) and enc_zend runs with the official PHP Zend Optimizer.

Usually, you would choose the Zend one but it depends on your server.

Absolutely no difference in features. It is just two different type of encodings. The speed may also differ slightly, but should not be noticable.

I have the Zend Optimizer one, since I installed the latest Zend Optimizer with PHP 4.3.1
