First off - your name is funny.

Also, you may get better results by offering the SCRIPT as a standalone script.

I think it will be a good idea to show a demo of the control panel on your site, before people actually download it to their servers. Demos really shows what the product looks like and makes people decide whether it is worthwhile downloading or not. Since the selling point here is the control panel, the more people see it and like it the more they are convinced of downloading it.

Cheers!

No, if you read the "How it Works" there is sample ad space that my hostmember will share.

We share the top web page of his/her members,
The hostmember will have 468x80 right side and
280x80 left side only for me. you can say.. to bad for me

Aloha,
this is not meant to be mean or harsh just stating ideas
not sure that it matters but I know that I would not use a panel type product that has advertising all over it that I did not control 100%
as far as the script again unless I had it as my script including advertising not sure if thsi is hte case with the script that it is 100% my control ??
there are quite a few programs like this that I can use to do portal services (free webspaces)
also there are others out there for free such as geocities I would not try to compete I would do other things first
also I would not let the database reside on someone elses server and have them have access to all my members info
hmmmmm
I can see your model and for you it would be a very good one I think once you get it tested you may want to try to push on people yourself other than webmasters and hosters (good idea to test it here and get it ironed out first) but your money (advertising demographic info) will come from the layman I feel
hope that gives ya some new thoughts

Hi Honu,
I respect your opinion regarding the service i offer, however thats the opinion of a pro webmaster like you and people that can make same service that i offer. but what about those other webmasters not really a programmer only a designer and wants to include a free hosting service to their website.

I remember excelland.com before.. I too was a member, in this service, u cannot place banner in your members web pages. but people still signing up.

and here, I have good offer to those webmasters, instant free hosting service, 100% control of their members web pages and 100% display of their ads to their member web pages. w/ no complicated setups.

You don't have to compete with geocities, other webmaster just want to add new services to their website with no setup or something.

Both my hostmember and me will benefits to this service.

thanks, I like that kind of opinion.

You can have an option to let people remove the ads by paying you monthly. Just my 2 cent.
